ISRAEL, The Holy Land

WAILING WALL Day 1: Departure from USA. Overnight flight including dinner, breakfast and in Ðflight entertainment.

Day 2: Tel Aviv-Joppe-Haifa-Nentanya. Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, We are met, assisted and escorted to our hotel. We start our visit in Joppe, place of the vision of Pedro, and continue to enjoy a panoramic view of beautiful Haifa and the Bahai Gardens, travel to Nentaya, Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Cana ÐNazareth- Megiddo- Tiberias. We start the day visiting the place where Jesus performed his first miracle Ð turning water into wine in Cana. Continue to Nazareth to visit the place where he lived as a young boy and visit a typical house of his time. Continue to Megiddo, the multi-layered Biblical city and then continue to Mt. Carmel On this mountain Elijah fought the 400 false prophets. We end the day at the baptism site of the Jordan River. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Day 4: Capernaum - Tabgha -Mt. of Beatitudes- Magdala- Jerusalem. We reach Capernaum to visit the ruins of an ancient synagogue and the Byzantine chapel at the site of Peter's House. We overlook the Sea of Galilee from above and then descend to take a boat ride on it. In the middle of the sea we stop the engine and read the scriptures. We then continue to Tabgha, the site of the Multiplication of the Loaves and the Fish, the Mount of Beatitudes, and Magdala, home of Mary Magdalene. We end the day at the baptism site of the Jordan River. Dinner and overnight in our hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 5: Jerusalem Bethlehem. We begin by following the path down the Palm Sunday road to the Garden of Gethsemane and the nearby Church of All Nations. We then take a short drive through the Kidron Valley to reach Absalom and Zachariah's Tomb. We will enter the Old City of Jerusalem through the Dung Gate, and then continue to Mount Zion (King David's tomb) and the Upper Room, site of the Last Supper. The Garden Tomb at Golgotha is our next stop. Visit the tomb from where HE resurrected. We then travel to the "little town of Bethlehem..." and its' Church of the Nativity and Milk Grotto. On the way back to Jerusalem we view the Shepherds Field. Back to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Qumran- Dead Sea-Masada- Desert Tabernacle. We drive south to the Dead Sea and to Qumran, to visit the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Continue on to Masada, the palace-fort built by King Herod. Here, in 73 A.D., 960 Jewish zealots committed suicide rather than surrender to the Romans. The plateau is reached via a cable car ride with a spectacular view of the plains surrounding it. WeÕll also dip in the Dead Sea Ð rich with minerals, GodÕs gift to your skin. On the way back to Jerusalem we visit the Tabernacle of the Desert (new) Ð a replica of the Tabernacle carried by the people of Israel from Egypt.

Day 7 Jerusalem: The new city-Yad Hash Mona - Ein Karem. After breakfast we will visit the modern city of Jerusalem, the Israeli Parliament (Knesset), the Yad Va Shem Museum (the Holocaust Museum). Before returning to the Old City we visit the hands-on Biblical Park at Ein Karem to better understand life in the Holy Land at Jesus time. We will visit the Wailing Wall (the Western Wall) - the last remains of the Temple built by King Solomon- the RabbiÕs Tunnel exposes to you the unique size of the Wailing Wall

Day 8 Tel Aviv-USA, return home with a Lifetime Experience!!!!
